CALL FOR PAPERS FOR 2025 EDITION – VOLUME 20
The Nigerian Juridical Review is an international law journal published by the Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria. It is one of the oldest law journals in Nigeria and publishes peer-reviewed scholarly articles in diverse areas of law, domestic and international. It provides a forum for legal scholars and jurists to publish their research findings on contemporary legal issues, including review of laws and development in the legal landscapes that have national, regional,l and international impact.
From its 16th edition (2021), the journal has been published exclusively online on its independent website: https://tnjr.uneclaw.ng/. Every issue and article published in the journal is open access and has a Digital Objective Identifier (DOI) for easy access. The journal invites manuscripts for its 2025 edition – Volume 20.

Guidelines to Contributors
1. Originality: Manuscripts to be submitted must be original, well-researched, and must not have been published in part or as a whole or have been submitted for consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. Length and format: The manuscript for an article should not exceed 10,000 words in length (including footnote references), while that for a case review/comment should not exceed 4,000 words in length. All manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing for the body of the paper and font size 10, single line spacing for footnotes. The manuscript should be split into numbered sections and sub-sections.
3. Contributor(s) information: There should be a Title Page at the beginning which, in addition to the title of the paper, should include the name(s) of the author(s), their work affiliation(s), address(es) and ORCID iDs, as well as the e-mail address and telephone number of the corresponding author.
4. Abstract and keywords: Manuscripts should have an abstract of not more than 250 words, which must include the background to the study, objectives of the study, methodology, findings/results, and a summary of key recommendations. There should also be at least 4 to 6 keywords to be used for indexing purposes.
5. Referencing and citation: Manuscripts should be written to comply strictly with the NALT Uniform Citation Guide-Style of Referencing or the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) 4th edition. Any manuscript that does not comply with the stipulated referencing guidelines will be rejected.

6. Publication/article processing fee: An article processing fee of N50,000.00 (Fifty thousand naira) for Nigerian-based authors and $100.00 (one hundred dollars) for foreign-based authors shall be demanded and paid by the submitting author only after a paper has been accepted for publication.
7. Submission of manuscripts: All manuscripts should be submitted online via the journal website: https://tnjr.uneclaw.ng/index.php/tnjr/submissions. To submit a manuscript, the author should first register on the journal’s submission page: https://tnjr.uneclaw.ng/index.php/tnjr/user/register. Hardcopy submission or submission by personal emails to the General Editor or members of the Editorial Board will not be accepted. The submission platform shall open on 15 April 2025 and automatically close at midnight on 30 June 2025. The Editorial Board may consider publishing accepted articles on a rolling basis even before the deadline for manuscript submission, and subsequently publish the entire volume.
